1950's polka dot blouse

I started this one before I moved to England, 2006, and I finally managed to finish it the summer of 2008.
I found it in a bag and I had totally forgotten all about it.
It was a nice reunion.

I made it from a pattern dated 1950.
I used an old piece of white semi transparent curtain with small red polka dots that I found in a charity shop in Stockholm, Sweden, for almost no money at all.
I added my own childish and kitschy touch to it by attach red heart shaped buttons.
